Start with friction
Build around a concrete problem, not a feature inventory.
Independent software label
Massdex makes focused tools for the screens, workflows, and devices people already use—without turning every useful feature into a platform.
Four products · distinct identities · one quality standard
Current work
Each product keeps the identity and interaction model its job requires. They share a preference for visible state, narrow permissions, and a clear way back.
01Liminal Suite
Veil, Gaze, Ember, and Dusk provide focused display, input, wake, and dimming controls. Android and Windows implementations follow the strengths and limits of each platform.

02Magic Capsule
A user-controlled notification studio for HONOR MagicOS and Huawei EMUI. It uses Android's public notification surface; the device makes the final decision about capsule admission and rendering.

03ZeroContact
Open a WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business conversation without first saving the number to contacts. The app also creates an offline QR code for the same official click-to-chat destination.

04Native Currency View
A separate Chrome extension preview for Shopify Admin order pages. It makes the store-native amount primary while retaining the original checkout currency. It is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify.

Working principles
Massdex is an independent label for tools that solve specific friction and make their limits plain.
Build around a concrete problem, not a feature inventory.
Make active, paused, failed, and reversible states understandable.
Request only the permissions and access the function needs.
Respect the platform instead of forcing one template everywhere.
Prefer settings, releases, and changes that can be reviewed and reversed.
See what exists today, what is still a preview, and the boundaries each tool keeps.
